The Nassau County Democratic Executive Committee sent 12 delegates to the Florida Democratic Conference in Orlando in 2009. Speaking to the delegates, Rep. Alan Grayson of Florida told the delegates that “we are the party of conscience” and the other guys are the “party of selfish”. We are looking for a few good Democrats who are members of the “party of conscience”. We are looking for Democrats who are committed to the values of the Democratic Party. We are looking for Democrats who are concerned about the future of our county, our state, and our country. If you are interested in working to get Democrats elected to office and working to make Nassau County and the State of Florida a better place to live, we invite you to join us by becoming a precinct captain with the Nassau County Democratic Executive Committee.
